Our Process
We have honed our years of Interior Design, Construction, and Project Management experience to create a streamlined process. We manage every phase of the process so you don’t have to. Below is an overview of our design process

Project Launch
Consultation: We meet with you in person to learn about your project and style. We want to understand not only the design you are seeking but also how you currently use the space. During this meeting, we will discuss the budget as well as review the BraePark Design contract.
Design Estimate: After learning your overall project scope, needs and budget, we will provide an estimate which outlines the number of hours we estimate to complete your project.
Commencement of Project: The fun begins once the contract is signed and retainer paid.

Construction
Order Placement & Notice to Proceed: Once the design is approved, we place the orders for all materials and furnishings. We will also provide the Notice to Proceed to the various vendors required to execute the project.
Initiation of Construction/Renovation: We will provide onsite direction and guidance throughout the entire process ensuring every detail is captured and the exceptional quality of craftsmanship is met. Unforeseen conditions happen, BraePark's team of experienced Project Managers will work with the contractor and trades to overcome the unforeseen and manage the schedule and budget.
Weekly Updates: We will provide weekly updates via email on the schedule, cost and other miscellaneous details specific to your project.

Design
Existing Conditions Survey: We will meet at your house with the trades to take detailed measurements and photos.
Design Presentation: On presentation day, we will go over all aspects of your project’s design. This detailed presentation will include the floor plans, details, elevations and finish specifications to include flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, wallpaper/paint selections, furnishings, and artwork. Included in the presentation will be an itemized budget and project schedule.

Installation
Construction Cleanup: After construction is completed, we will have our crew do a deep clean to remove all construction dust and debris.
Furniture Delivery: We will coordinate with movers and handymen to deliver and install all of your furniture and hang artwork, window treatments, and accessories.
Décor Placement: BraePark Design will also be onsite to arrange all of the furniture and add the final layers of accessories and warmth to make your home beautiful and ready for you to enjoy.
WELCOME HOME: Once the installation is completed and another cleaning of your home is completed, we will welcome you into your new home/space.
